WAPOU Industrial Officers

This coming week we bid farewell to Industrial Officer Sophie Van Der Merwe. Sophie recently resigned from WAPOU and will shortly take up a new role in a government agency.

Sophie has been with WAPOU for a little over six years during which time she has tirelessly represented members from a number of prisons around the state. Sophie is a tremendous loss to WAPOU and will be greatly missed.

Personally and on behalf of the WAPOU Executive Team, Delegates and all members I wish Sophie the very best of luck in her future, a future that I am sure will be very successful.
